Dan has 10 years experience within the banking and finance industry, the public service, and has volunteered at Health Australia Tanzania (HAT) Inc. and the Victorian AIDS Council (VAC). Dan seeks to build capability in others through direct engagement with people in need. He is an avid supporter of building partnerships and collaborating with the individuals and organisations. She completed her PhD in Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW in 2016. Ling has a passion for implementing research outcomes that contributes to and advocates for equitable health care. Through her work Ling has developed research projects with locals and provided eye care to Aboriginal communities in Australia and rural areas abroad in Nepal, China and India. Ling also has a passion for working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop their confidence in learning. He has been a member of the Rotary of Collingwood for more than 20 years and attributes his years of service to remaining true to the generosity of spirit and rationality, and by demonstrating patience and tolerance of all. Bruce has a keen interest in history, particularly engineering and railway history, music and the performing arts, travel and photography. Bruce continues to mentor younger people and believes this keeps him young and independent in attitude, but without trying to imitate young people.
